About Simon
My main focus is living a selfsufficient lifestyle which I have been practising since 2004 on 8500 m2, and now expanding with another 18.000 m2. Secondly teaching others to do the same, helping people in their transformation from consumers to producers. I am very interested in how we as a culture ended up with this non-sustainabel way of living. What are the habbits and convictions that has lead us to where we are now ? How can we change our ways towards a more sustainable world ? ( see my pathway design), and how do we start a dialog about this without projecting blaim and guilt on each other? How do we move on from here, together? For me this transformation has evolved around simplifying things, slowing down, getting closer to the production of my food, to nature, to people and to myself. In this process of getting closer, I feel more alive, because I am interacting with live, getting a feedback from people, animals, and soil organisms, and this experience has not only created a more sustainable way of living but also a happier life.
