Students of permaculture from seven different countries traveled to HOLMA FOLKHOGSKOLA in Höör, Sweden and participated in the Permaculture Teacher Training 2025.
During the course we practiced Micro-teaching to develop our ability to teach and communicate permaculture.
The teachers (Cathrine Dolleris, Andreas Johnson, and Alfred Decker) shared their many years of teaching experience, demonstrating both solid teaching methods and tools, as well as a “meta perspective” on the interaction that takes place in a classroom.
I felt a very positive vibe of sharing, good food, perspectives on teaching, and our own permaculture practices.
I made new connections and friendships that reach beyond the course itself and trancend the borders of the world.
I entered this course as a student of permaculture, but left it as a teacher of permaculture, with my head full of ideas and inspiration for teaching, with many practical experiences on how I can teach permaculture, and a heart full of connections, contacts and hope for the future.
